About the role
- Optimizing and expanding existing customer software systems and processes
- Resolving incidents on customer software systems according to ITIL processes
- Designing, estimating, developing and implementing new software features, and maintaining technical documentation
- Acting as technical lead for software change requests (planning/development/implementation)
- Ongoing independent professional development and conducting trainings for internal and external stakeholders
- Serving as point of contact for selected customers
- Organizing and conducting customer workshops
Requirements
- Experience in software development and proficiency in C/C++
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Good knowledge of Unix
- Completed (higher) education in IT or engineering preferred
- Understanding of relational databases (Oracle)
- Good command of English
- Communicative personality with enjoyment of customer interaction
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20% of annual working time)
- Team player with a sense of responsibility and strong communication skills
