About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Optimizing and extending existing customer software systems and processes
- Resolving incidents in customer software systems according to ITIL processes
- Designing, estimating, developing and implementing new software features, including ongoing technical documentation
- Technical leadership of software change requests (planning / development / implementation)
- Ongoing independent professional development and conducting trainings for internal and external stakeholders
- Point of contact for selected customers
- Organizing and conducting customer workshops
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in software development and proficiency in C/C++
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Good Unix knowledge
- Completed (higher) education in IT or engineering is an advantage
- Understanding of relational databases (Oracle)
- Good command of English
- Communicative personality with a strong customer focus
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20% of annual working time)
- Team player with a sense of responsibility and strong verbal communication skills
