About the role
- Lead proposal development and support federal business growth
- Review federal solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, Sources Sought)
- Analyze requirements and develop clear, compliant technical proposals that reflect SSC’s capabilities
- Create compliance matrices and coordinate with subject matter experts and leadership
- Manage the full technical writing workflow from draft to submission
- Monitor federal procurement platforms and identify relevant opportunities
- Maintain an organized pipeline with key details to help leadership prioritize pursuits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, English, Public Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of experience supporting federal proposal development or technical writing for government contracts
- Demonstrated experience responding to federal solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, or IDIQ task orders)
- Experience developing proposal compliance matrices and proposal outlines
- Strong writing, editing, and document organization skills
- Ability to interpret federal solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a proposal-driven environment
