About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute territory growth strategies across government, public safety, intelligence, and law enforcement organizations throughout Latin America
- Build and maintain a strategic opportunity pipeline and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets
- Keep Target Account Selling plans up to date
- Navigate government procurement, tendering, and contracting processes while ensuring compliance with local and regional requirements
- Represent SS8 at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings
- Collaborate with product, marketing, legal, and operations teams to develop tailored solutions
- Lead proposals, presentations, bids, and RFI/RFP responses
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with government stakeholders, industry partners, systems integrators, and consultants
- Develop and manage strategic partner relationships to expand market reach and accelerate growth
- Provide market intelligence and customer insights for go-to-market strategies, competitive positioning, and product development
- Maintain accurate opportunity forecasts and account plans to support business planning and revenue growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience selling to international governments or public sector clients
- Demonstrated success developing and closing complex, high-value opportunities involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience with government procurement, tendering, or contracting processes in international markets
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience selling to or supporting government agencies, law enforcement, public safety, intelligence, defense, or telecommunications organizations preferred
- Experience conducting business across Latin America and understanding regional market dynamics
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required
- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Portuguese or additional languages are a plus
