About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies across government, public safety, intelligence, and law enforcement organizations throughout Latin America
  • Build and maintain a strategic opportunity pipeline and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets
  • Keep Target Account Selling plans up to date
  • Navigate government procurement, tendering, and contracting processes while ensuring compliance with local and regional requirements
  • Represent SS8 at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, legal, and operations teams to develop tailored solutions
  • Lead proposals, presentations, bids, and RFI/RFP responses
  • Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with government stakeholders, industry partners, systems integrators, and consultants
  • Develop and manage strategic partner relationships to expand market reach and accelerate growth
  • Provide market intelligence and customer insights for go-to-market strategies, competitive positioning, and product development
  • Maintain accurate opportunity forecasts and account plans to support business planning and revenue growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience selling to international governments or public sector clients
  • Demonstrated success developing and closing complex, high-value opportunities involving multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with government procurement, tendering, or contracting processes in international markets
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experience selling to or supporting government agencies, law enforcement, public safety, intelligence, defense, or telecommunications organizations preferred
  • Experience conducting business across Latin America and understanding regional market dynamics
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required
  • Portuguese or additional languages are a plus
