About the role
- Partner with sales teams to understand customer needs and deliver tailored product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution recommendations.
- Gather customer technical requirements and align the SS&C Skyline solution.
- Identify and articulate business challenges and how Skyline can address them.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, engineering and implementation teams.
- Stay current on Skyline products, services, and industry trends to ensure relevant and impactful client engagements.
- Serve as a point of contact for resolving technical concerns or integration questions during the sales cycle.
- Assist with onboarding new customers by providing technical guidance.
Requirements
- Product & Industry Knowledge: Brings a solid background in property management operations, with a strong emphasis on accounting processes and workflows.
- Demo & Presentation Expertise: Skilled in delivering tailored, high-impact product demonstrations that align with customer goals and pain points.
- Sales Process Alignment: Understands the sales cycles and collaborates closely with sales executives to drive deal completion.
- Problem-Solving & Objection Handling: Proficient at overcoming technical objections and identifying creative solutions to win customer confidence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works well with product, engineering, implementation, and support teams to ensure seamless pre- and post-sales transitions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical sales role.
- A Bachelor's Degree
