Key responsibilities & impact

Provide legal counsel and support to SRG's project teams and senior leadership, focusing on corporate documents within the financial services industry.
Support client engagements and enhance the firm’s deliverables.
Provide legal support on transaction execution, including mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, and deal structuring.
Draft and/or review contracts with a focus on corporate and securities-related agreements.
Partner closely with project teams to assist in developing tailored, legally sound solutions.
Oversee day-to-day legal workflows and provide guidance to a paralegal.
Ensure compliance with applicable securities laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with SRG’s business activities and client engagements.
Oversee corporate governance practices, policies, and documentation.
Develop and deliver training on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in the United States.
Extensive experience (typically 6+ years) in corporate or transactional law, with exposure to financial services or securities-related matters.
Strong background in corporate law, M&A, succession planning, employment law, equity sharing, and business formation strategies.
Experience overseeing legal workflows or supporting junior staff, including cross-functional collaboration.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing business environment.
Problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
Working knowledge of securities law and regulations, as well as corporate law matters.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Utilization of AI-driven technologies to streamline processes and enhance deliverable accuracy.
