About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Group Policy.
  • Manage Azure IaaS resources including virtual machines, networking, storage, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Configure and support IIS websites, SSL certificates, application pools, URL Rewrite, and performance tuning.
  • Implement security baselines, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to automate administration.
  • Support monitoring, troubleshooting, patch management, and capacity planning.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and infrastructure diagrams.
  • Support server upgrades, cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, and IRS 1075 compliance activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–7+ years of Windows Server Administration (2016–2025)
  • Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
  • Group Policy (GPO), RSOP, GPMC, GPResult
  • IIS Administration (SSL/TLS, Application Pools, URL Rewrite, ARR, Logging)
  • Azure IaaS (VMs, VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancer/App Gateway)
