About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design, implementation, and governance of an enterprise-scale Azure cloud platform aligned with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) principles for the Judicial Branch
Provide architectural leadership across cloud domains, including landing zone design, governance, security, networking, DevOps, and resilience
Design and oversee Azure infrastructure (VMs, App Services, Storage, SQL)
Establish identity and access management using Azure AD and RBAC
Enforce security and compliance through policies and encryption
Implement monitoring and optimization strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience
Proven experience designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions at scale
Hands-on experience with CAF-aligned cloud adoption and landing zones
Experience implementing security, compliance, and governance frameworks
Experience with DevOps transformation and automation
Experience leading cross-functional architecture initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred
TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification preferred
