About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Commercial Managers across multiple contracts for the Uungula Wind Farm project
- Analyse and manage contract risk on assigned contracts
- Manage monthly progress claims, liaising with site and technical teams to verify work progress and contractor payment claims
- Manage contractor variations, including preparing proposals, assessing quotations, negotiating variations, and preparing authorised variation orders
- Manage contractor correspondence and deliverables in accordance with contract terms and conditions
- Support general contract administration, including formal correspondence, notices, insurance renewals, contractor meetings, and maintaining registers
- Review contractor correspondence to identify potential changes, claims, and delays
- Liaise with the project team to determine activity status and follow up on outstanding items
- Collate, review, submit, and store documentation for reporting and claims
- Report contract activities to the Project Director and broader project and senior management team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to work collaboratively within and across business units
- Strong safety orientation and focus on quality
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders at different levels
- Self-motivated and action-oriented
- Ability to prioritise activities in a dynamic environment
- High-level organisational and priority-setting skills, with ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, legal, contract/commercial management, engineering, construction management and/or project management is preferred
- Current driver’s licence
- White Card
- Appointment subject to reference checks, National Police Check, and other applicable background screening if required
