About the role
- Participate in leading the Workday Finance deployment project: scoping, planning, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with IT and business teams.
- Contribute to change management: training, communications, and writing user guides.
- Act as the liaison between functional and technical teams (integrations, interfaces, security, reporting).
- Participate in steering committees (COPIL) and operational project committees (COPROJ).
- Gather and analyze business requirements across the following areas: General Ledger, Suppliers, Customers, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Expense Reports, Reporting.
- Draft functional specifications and target (To-Be) processes.
- Design and execute functional tests (UAT, SIT).
- Contribute to the configuration of Workday Finance, notably: Financial Accounting (journals, chart of accounts, worktags), Supplier Accounts / Customer Accounts, Business Assets, Expenses, Procurement, Reporting & Dashboards.
- Manage post go-live support (application maintenance/TMA): prioritization, bug fixes, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in Workday releases: impact analysis, testing, and communicating new features to business users.
- Monitor financial and operational performance indicators through Workday Prism Analytics or Adaptive Planning.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Management, or Information Systems (business school, engineering school, or university).
- 2 to 10 years of experience on a Finance ERP, including at least one assignment on Workday Finance.
- Experience in business-side project support (AMOA) or system integration in an international context is a plus.
- Professional working proficiency in English required (Workday operates in a global environment).
- Solid understanding of accounting and finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R).
- Proficiency in Workday Financial Management (experience with at least 1 to 3 modules minimum).
- Ability to facilitate business workshops.
- Good knowledge of internal control and IFRS/local accounting standards.
- Knowledge of Workday configuration (Business Processes, Worktags, EIB, reports, security).
- Proficiency with collaborative project tools (Jira, Confluence, Teams, etc.).
- Familiarity with integrations (Workday Studio, Core Connectors, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and a pedagogical approach.
- Ability to simplify and explain complex topics to business stakeholders.
- Autonomy, rigor, and strong synthesis skills.
- Enthusiasm for digital transformation and change management.
