Accounts receivable and credit and collection functions, which include billing, credit and collection, reconciliations, bank deposits, maintenance of cash receipts and accounts receivable records
Accounts payable function, which involves the processing of payments and maintenance of disbursements and accounts payable records
Payroll processing functions including verification of time and expenses
Payroll-related human resources functions including benefits administration, handling of unemployment and workers’ compensation claims, and employee vacation and sick leave monitoring
Fixed assets tracking and monitoring functions, which involves the maintenance of fixed assets records and related depreciation schedules
Financial reporting function of the above duties
Support month-end and year-end close process
Other accounting and administrative functions that may be assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience preferred
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to multi-task, and work in an organized, detailed manner
Process-oriented with strong time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
Excellent organization skills with strong attention to details
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages (like QuickBooks) preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
