About the role Conduct Root Cause Investigations for customer-related Non-Conformances for machined components. Develop and maintain a corrective action follow-up plan, including maintenance and tracking of effectiveness. Effectively communicate on customer calls, providing updates on investigations, corrective action plans, and status of effectiveness checks. Monitor and evaluate process indicators such as yield, takt time, and throughput during validation. Document findings and provide feedback/recommendations for corrective actions or improvements. Collaborate with the on-site team on implementation and monitoring of corrective actions and review internal processes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field) or equivalent experience. 3–5+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) or Quality Engineering experience, preferably with exposure to aerospace and automotive industries. Hands-on experience with Root Cause Investigation, Corrective Action Implementation, and Effectiveness Checks. Familiarity with process performance metrics (yield, takt time, throughput). Ability to interpret and apply manufacturing standards and quality requirements. Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional and supplier engagement. Continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated ability to identify risks and implement sustainable controls. Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder) to comply with ITAR. Mileage reimbursement at the US government rate ($0.70 per mile driven). Untaxed.
