Lead investigations of non-conformances using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analysis; ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented and sustained.
Develop and review control plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), and verification activities to ensure product conformity throughout the manufacturing process and prior to shipment.
Create detailed assessment reports, qualification packages, and audit findings; maintain records of discrepancies, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in the qualification of new products and suppliers, including review of PFMEAs, process flow diagrams, and First Article Inspections (FAIs).
Validate critical manufacturing processes and assess inspection methods for effectiveness and risk mitigation.
Partner with suppliers to resolve quality issues, improve process controls, and implement best practices.
Recommend and support improvements to quality systems, procedures, and production workflows.
Perform quality assessments and ensure adherence to industry and client-specific standards.
Requirements
5+ years experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or Supplier Quality, with hands-on experience in RCCA, QMS auditing, and process validation.
Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, PFMEA, SPC, GRR, Control Plans, and Risk Assessment methodologies.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes for metal fabrications, including inspection of sheet metal, aluminum processing, etc...
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly document findings and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field—or equivalent experience.
Bilingual Vietnamese & English.
Preferred: ASQ Quality Engineer Certification.
Preferred: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification.
Preferred: Six Sigma Black Belt.
