About the role

  • Document and standardize manufacturing processes for actuators, valves, and electromechanical assemblies.
  • Create clear work instructions (text and images) using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to gather process information.
  • Translate manufacturing processes into precise, actionable instructions for production teams.
  • Identify and help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Communicate with production personnel to ensure clarity and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support streamlining operations and ensuring consistency in manufacturing tasks.
  • Contract role for a 6-month assignment focusing on process documentation and standardization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Aerospace or Manufacturing experience.
  • Strong background in manufacturing processes, particularly with electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience with actuators, valves, and switches is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail in documenting manufacturing processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to take initiative.
  • Commodity experience with actuators and valves preferred but not required.
  • General understanding of quality engineering (QE) processes beneficial but not required.
