About the role
- Document and standardize manufacturing processes for actuators, valves, and electromechanical assemblies.
- Create clear work instructions (text and images) using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to gather process information.
- Translate manufacturing processes into precise, actionable instructions for production teams.
- Identify and help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Communicate with production personnel to ensure clarity and resolve issues promptly.
- Support streamlining operations and ensuring consistency in manufacturing tasks.
- Contract role for a 6-month assignment focusing on process documentation and standardization.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Aerospace or Manufacturing experience.
- Strong background in manufacturing processes, particularly with electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Experience with actuators, valves, and switches is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail in documenting manufacturing processes.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Proactive mindset and ability to take initiative.
- Commodity experience with actuators and valves preferred but not required.
- General understanding of quality engineering (QE) processes beneficial but not required.
- Additional 0.70 cents per mile traveled.
