Senior Manager, Operational Excellence

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of operational projects across multiple teams
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs
- Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards, and documentation
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues when necessary
- Maintain project plans for communication with teams and across organization
- Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation
- Implement standardized workflows, SOPs, and best practices to enhance efficiency
- Track operational KPIs and provide insights to leadership
- Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes or tools
- Serve as the primary liaison between operations, finance, HR, IT, and other departments
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and status updates to ensure alignment
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external partners when required
- Assist in forecasting project budgets and resource allocation
- Monitor expenditures and ensure projects stay within approved budgets
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-10 years of experience in operations, project management, or continuous improvement roles
- Strong understanding of project management principles and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project)
- Proven knowledge of process improvement methodologies, including CI practices, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and effectively implement changes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-function teams at all levels (production to management) and present data and recommendations verbally and in written form to management
- Preferred PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification
- Experience in a fast‑paced or high‑growth environment
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, minitab)
