About the role
- Assist the engineering team in achieving continuous improvement efforts
- Develop and update technical documentation including product specifications, reports, and submittals
- Evaluate product issues and improvements to help develop engineering change requests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer/sales support
- Learn products to assist in product change reviews
- Lead other projects as assigned or proposed
Requirements
- Student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably focused on mechanical engineering or other related Engineering field
- Candidates must have completed their second year of engineering studies
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- High problem-solving skills and self-direction
- Company will not provide sponsorship for position. Must be eligible to work in US
- Familiarity with technical drawings
- Mechanical aptitude for machines and tools
- Technical hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience using CAD programs, preferably Creo Parametric
