About the role
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products and services meet quality standards
- Create test plans, conduct audits, and perform inspections and testing to identify defects
- Monitor processes and track quality metrics; monitor and report on quality data and trends
- Identify and document defects and report issues to development or manufacturing teams
- Collaborate with development, production, and other teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Verify that products and services meet industry regulations and standards
- Serve as a Quality Control Inspector as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in business management, computer science, engineering (mechanical, industrial, production), or a related technical field
- Prior experience in quality assurance or a related role is highly preferred
- Professional certifications like Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor are a strong asset
- Experience in ISO certification is highly desirable
- Experience in life science machinery manufacturing is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of quality assurance methodologies, testing strategies, and quality management tools
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to adjust to a changing environment
