About the role
- Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team of two, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with the CFO to shape and communicate Spryker’s financial strategy, including long-range planning and scenario analysis.
- Own the company-wide planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and efficient capital allocation.
- Partner with senior leaders, turning financial data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
- Oversee the preparation of management reports, board materials, and investor-ready narratives that articulate performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with Accounting and other Finance peers to ensure accurate month-end close, high-quality financial data, and smooth operational workflows.
- Further develop and maintain a consistent KPI framework that supports clear financial steering across Spryker, including commercial and SaaS metrics.
- Champion agile, forward-looking planning practices (e.g., rolling forecasts, driver-based models) to increase responsiveness and adaptability.
- Lead improvement initiatives across finance systems, tools, and processes, ensuring our tech stack scales with the business.
- Act as a trusted advisor—challenging assumptions, uncovering risks, and contributing proactively to strategic and operational discussions.
Requirements
- 10+ years in FP&A, Controlling, or similar strategic finance roles, ideally in high-growth SaaS or tech scale-ups.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing a small FP&A team or function.
- Demonstrated strength in financial and strategic analysis, with end-to-end ownership of planning, forecasting, and performance management cycles.
- Deep expertise in integrated financial modelling, scenario planning, and building driver-based models that connect P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Strong track record of partnering with C-level and senior stakeholders, influencing decisions through clear, data-backed storytelling.
- Experience preparing materials for boards, investors, or lenders; exposure to fundraising or strategic transactions is a strong plus.
- Experience within management consulting or similar strategic environments is a plus but not essential.
