MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: Processing Applications for Government Mandated Services and Benefits
TASKS: Responsible in administering different employee benefit programs
Will act as Liaison officer to government agencies (SSS/Philhealth/BIR/ HDMF)
Responsible in submitting reports to update or declare new employees and separated employees to SSS/Philhealth/HDMF for policy coverage using print form or electronic transaction form
Ensures compliance with all labor and benefit mandates and stays current on regulatory changes of different government agencies related to hr and payroll processes
Facilitate filing of claims to SSS/EC/Philhealth/HDMF via online system or manual transaction to government offices
Facilitate loan details and updating of employee's record to SSS, HDMF, and Philhealth and to provide feedback to concerned employee and manager
Resolves conflicts with benefit providers ( ie govt agencies ) for the purpose of validating enrollment eligibility and processing claims
Prepare request or advance payment for employee SSS benefits and able to file reimbursement claim to SSS. (SSS sickness and SSS maternity)
Secure and verify government numbers such as SSS, HDMF, TIN and Philhealth for those newly hired employees
Process payment for all statutory contributions and loans
Monitoring and coordination with messenger for payments in government institutions and/or banks.
Provide assistance and perform tasks related to other PS services that may be required from time to time ( ie final pay processing )
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree related to HR
At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Background in Compensation & Benefits + Payroll is a plus
Strong work ethic— maintains good working habits to ensure timely completion of tasks in organized work schedules
