Springer NatureSeeking an Associate or Senior Editor to oversee AI and computational science research publications at Springer Nature. Responsible for editorial decisions and guiding external editors in manuscript developments.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Make well-reasoned editorial decisions on submitted manuscripts
- Develop editorial policies and guidelines for AI and computational sciences
- Advise authors on manuscript titles, abstracts, introductions, and structure
- Recruit and support a team of external editors
- Commission various content including Reviews and Comment articles
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD level research experience in computational social science, computational neuroscience, and/or computational linguistics
- Strong understanding of AI ethics and human-machine interaction
- Editorial experience is an advantage but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
