About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for full-cycle new business sales across an assigned geographic region
  • Successfully close new partnerships with school districts within assigned territory
  • Secure partnerships with at least three medium-large school districts for programming of at least 1,000 students within first 180 days
  • Build a pipeline of 30+ highly qualified opportunities within first 9 months
  • Cultivate relationships and sell programming to reach new business sales targets
  • Communicate the organization’s mission and purpose to generate interest and enthusiasm
  • Manage towards quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Demonstrate knowledge of potential partners through research and build interest
  • Achieve or exceed established new business targets promoting Springboard’s solution
  • Design and manage projects to generate in-district demand and interest

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role focused on building new partnerships
  • Demonstrated experience working in the K–12 education market
  • Demonstrated success in positioning complex K-12 service-as-a-solution sales in districts with more than 20,000 students
  • Strong command of consultative sales methodologies and disciplined pipeline management
  • Experience using Salesforce and other SaaS selling tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
