About the role

Design and expand the capabilities of the full stack application (Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, React) providing insights into customers’ data.
Build and enhance data pipelines using DBT and SQL, working closely with data scientists to integrate models.
Build and optimize data-centric solutions and integrate data science models to unlock insights.
Enable demo and trial environments that showcase the platform’s capabilities.
Work in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment, tackle unknowns, adapt to changing priorities, and run rapid experiments.
Build thoughtful UI and components and contribute to the design system/component library.
Implement strong testing practices, monitoring, and alerting to maintain platform reliability.
Identify areas for growth on the application stack and advocate for roadmap priorities.
Conduct research and experiments to inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, customer success, and sales; mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of quality.

5+ years of professional development experience with full stack web applications.
Fluency with SQL.
Comfortable working on an agile team and curious about learning new things.
Enjoy collaborating with teammates and pair programming.
Enjoy coaching & growing engineers.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent context switching.
Comfortable moving fast and working through ambiguity.
Hybrid role based in New York City with expectation to be in office 2-3 days a week.
