About the role
- Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with Spring’s mission, strategic priorities, and operational goals.
- Forecasting & Performance Management: Develop and maintain robust forecasting and KPI models that provide visibility into performance trends and actionable insights for leadership.
- Business Partnership: Partner with Operations leadership to optimize clinic performance, capacity utilization, and patient experience through data-driven analysis and financial insight.
- Decision Support & Insights: Translate complex financial and operational data into clear narratives and recommendations that inform executive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leaders across the business, connecting financial outcomes to operational drivers.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team that embodies Spring’s values of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Process & Systems Improvement: Implement tools, systems, and best practices to enhance forecasting accuracy, scalability, and reporting efficiency.
- Board & Investor Reporting: Support monthly and quarterly reporting to investors and the Board, ensuring timely, accurate, and strategic presentations of financial performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 8–10+ years of progressive FP&A, detailed corporate budget experience required
- Proven success partnering cross-functionally in multi-site healthcare or service organizations required
- MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred
- Experience in private equity–backed or high-growth, multi-site healthcare organizations preferred
- Corporate Development and Strategic Finance experience preferred
- Experience with financial planning tools and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI) preferred
