About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the core data infrastructure: Lead data pipelines into Snowflake and Power BI, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and enterprise-level scalability.
- Drive strategic analytics & insights: Apply predictive modeling and statistical analysis to inform executive decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
- Lead operational & financial metrics: Oversee reporting on KPIs like churn, signed accounts, and performance metrics; partner with underwriting and finance on deal evaluation.
- Build scalable systems & automation: Design future-proof data models, automate manual processes, and maintain data integrity.
- Lead a high-performing team: Manage 6+ direct reports across Data Analysts and Managers of Data & Analytics; set priorities, mentor talent, and elevate team capabilities.
- Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to align on metrics, reporting, and business decisions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in financial data and analytics or related fields
- Proven experience managing teams of analysts and managers, and working with enterprise-scale datasets
- Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with BI tools, particularly Power BI
- Experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts applied to analytics and automation
- Expertise in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and identifying key drivers of performance and operational efficiency
- Strong communication skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias toward action
