Social Media Manager

• Manage and grow The Racing Post’s social media presence across all key platforms, ensuring content is timely, accurate, and engaging
• Work across multiple digital media - creating content, graphics and video across different social media channels including X, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
• Plan, create, and publish social content that supports editorial priorities, major racing events, and the wider racing calendar
• Liaise with editorial production teams to help promote key content and breaking news on our social channels
• Deliver live social coverage of race days, breaking news, and key industry moments, reacting quickly and confidently in real time
• Work closely with editorial, video, and data teams to translate Racing Post journalism into compelling social-first formats
• Write clear, engaging, and platform-appropriate copy that reflects The Racing Post’s authoritative yet accessible tone of voice
• Monitor social media performance, track key metrics, and provide regular insights and recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and audience growth
• Identify trends, conversations, and opportunities
• Ensure impactful delivery of commercial messages through social content,
• Drive Horse Racing conversation online by promoting and reacting to key sporting moments including big races such as the Grand National and Cheltenham Gold Cup
• Ensure all Horse Racing content is on brand with the correct tone of voice at all times
• Monitor and document competitor activity (bookmakers / publishers / affiliates)
• Work on live events, including clipping of our live shows on Grabyo such as The Morning Post, working with the production team to optimise these for our Social Media channels
• Ensure all content meets compliance and responsible gambling best practise at all times

Social Media Executive

• Own the execution and performance of both organic social content and paid media campaigns across UK/IRE markets, building a distinctive sports betting brand presence while driving measurable growth.
• Lead day-to-day organic social content across X, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, primarily focused on English football.
• Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all social platforms.
• Create engaging, platform-native copy and collaborate on supporting creative assets.
• Plan, launch and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta, X and TikTok across multiple brands.
• Manage campaign budgets and ensure spend is tracked and delivered effectively.
• Build and test audiences (including retargeting and lookalikes) to improve performance.
• Monitor, analyse and optimise both organic and paid performance using data-driven insights.
• Deliver clear performance reporting and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ensure all content and campaigns comply with gambling regulations.

Paid Social Media Executive – Sports

User Researcher

• Work closely with the Lead Researcher and User Researcher to ensure that the research activities are run efficiently
• Work effectively with UX & UI designers and product managers to translate research findings into actionable insights
• Assist to collect and analyse research findings for a variety of projects, ranging from discovery to validation
• Assist in planning and conducting user research activities (e.g. usability testing, interviews, surveys)
• To build up to taking lead responsibility for qualitative interviews in research projects
• Responsible for user research operations and participant data management
• Responsible for the development and the maintenance of the user research repository, including research findings, reports and documentation
• Contribute to research projects, conduct research sessions, and effectively document and analyse findings
• Start presenting user research findings within the Product and PD&R and occasionally other related departments

Junior User Researcher

Data Analyst

• Insight Generation: Go beyond BAU reporting to proactively identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in customer behaviour, lifecycle progression, segmentation, and product engagement, linking insight to commercial and strategic outcomes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with squads, product teams, and leadership to understand challenges, shape hypotheses, and deliver insights that influence strategic decisions.
• Data Storytelling: Translate complex datasets and analysis into clear, compelling narratives that drive action, ensuring insights are accessible and meaningful for stakeholders with varying levels of data fluency.
• Impact Measurement: Develop and implement robust measurement frameworks, including test-and-learn approaches, to evaluate the success of business changes and ensure decisions are evidence-based and continuously refined.
• Championing a Data-Driven Culture: Advocate for data as a strategic asset, challenging assumptions and embedding insight-led decision-making across Content, Product, CRM, and Commercial teams.
• Automation for Efficiency: Streamline and automate recurring reporting and analysis, maximising time spent on high-value insight generation rather than manual data preparation.
