Affiliate Manager

• Manage day-to-day execution of our affiliate business in driving user acquisition for sportsbook partners across key sporting and racing festival events (Cheltenham, Aintree)
• Work closely with the Conversion Optimisation Manager and Data Intelligence Unit to drive conversion rate optimisation efforts daily
• Liaise with and manage sportsbook partner accounts to input offers and links into the products (websites and apps)
• Coordinate with the content team to optimise their content to convert users into revenue-driving users
• Regular coordination with the design team to refresh content across all channels, for all formats and products, to avoid repetitiveness and ad fatigue
• Help manage weekly reporting and measurement of campaign performance to stakeholders including reviewing, analysing and interpreting results
• Perform regular QA of all revenue-generating journeys for customers across all Spotlight Sports Group products
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and departments including; paid & content marketing, product and compliance to ensure flawless marketing activations

People Operations

• As a key member of the People team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering operational excellence across the full employee lifecycle while leading and developing a small, high-performing HR Operations team.
• Lead, develop and support a small People Operations team, creating a high-performing, collaborative and supportive environment.
• Provide clear direction, coaching and development to build capability and ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of HR services.
• Actively support and guide the team in the day-to-day delivery of HR operations, stepping in where required to ensure pace, quality, consistency and pragmatic support across the employee lifecycle. Use data and insight to identify the touchpoints that will improve the employee experience.
• Maintain strong oversight of operational HR processes, ensuring they are efficient and compliant, seeking out AI tools and solutions to automate and improve manual processes.
• Ensure employee data is accurately maintained within HR systems, upholding strong data governance and GDPR compliance, while proactively exploring and maximising system capabilities to improve reporting, insight and operational efficiency across the People function.
• Provide expert guidance and management of complex employee relations matters and processes. Ensure cases are managed consistently, fairly and in line with employment legislation and best practice.
• Partner with stakeholders to navigate sensitive and high-impact people issues with confidence and sound judgement.
• Design, implement and continuously improve people policies and frameworks that support both business needs and employee experience.
• Ensure organisational compliance with employment law, proactively managing legislative change and embedding best practice across the organisation.
• Maintain robust governance across the People function, including GDPR compliance and responsible management of employee data.
• Lead and support organisational design initiatives including restructures, role scoping/design and workforce planning.
• Assess the impact of organisational changes on roles and teams, working with leaders to explore and scope options whilst ensuring fair and compliant processes.
• Provide pragmatic and commercially focused people advice to stakeholders at all levels, and embed this ethos within the team.
• Co-ordinate activities associated with a business sale process, including due diligence requirements within the data room.
• Oversee the design, delivery and continuous improvement of the benefits and wellbeing offering, ensuring it remains competitive, relevant and aligned with employee and business needs.

Head of People Operations

Social Media Manager

• - Be a senior voice within the marketing function, reporting directly into the Head of Marketing to help shape the future of Spotlight’s B2C Marketing
• - Define and evolve a multi-platform strategy tailored to new racing audiences (X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, emerging channels)
• - Alongside the Senior Campaigns Manager and Head of Marketing, be a key leader in strategising and managing the brand direction, ensuring it ladders up to the business’ 3-year plan
• - Develop platform-native content strategies (short-form video, live reaction, data-led graphics, tipping clips etc)
• - Grow under-penetrated demographics (younger fans, female bettors, international audiences)
• - Own social media end to end, with a big drive for more engaging short-form and creative output to meet the new future content strategy
• - Produce and create content which engages our audience and encourages/elicits a direct response relevant to the group's revenue lines from our social media channels
• - Own our third-party influencer programme, strategising ways to access their audiences in engaging ways that drive long-term audience adoption for Spotlight / Racing Post. This includes a sizeable influencer / amplification budget.
• - Manage the social media team to ensure activity ladders up to wider business goals and content is generated to a high standard:
• - Invest in performance management of your team and ensure company appraisal process is followed at all times
• - Ensure all social media content and campaign activity meets compliance and responsible gambling best practice at all times
• - Own the relationship with any external agencies that would be needed to meet the wider business goals, inclusive of PR, Social Media, Experiential and Campaign Activation
• - Align with, manage and contribute towards the day-to-day relationship with horse racing and sport editorial teams ensuring they are fully engaged with all Content Marketing activity during planning, execution and analysis phase
• - This is inclusive of content amplification from the editorial team, ensuring our award-winning content gets the required visibility in a native content format for social and other channels
• - Work across multiple digital media - conceiving ideas, creating content, graphics and video.
• - Create and track KPIs for each activity and platform, working with analyst resource to create self serve dashboards and present various insights suitable for your team up to the CEO
