About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic hardware and audio technology partnerships
- Contribute to defining and executing the long-term partnership strategy
- Lead negotiations for contractual agreements covering both business and technical terms
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Audio teams to ensure integrations meet standards
- Build relationships across various functions at partner organizations
- Interface regularly with global teams
- Coordinate cross-functionally internally to drive partnerships forward
- Stay ahead of the consumer hardware and audio technology landscape
- Use data and AI-driven insights to improve partner integrations
- Advance Spotify’s position in hardware/audio ecosystems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working with hardware, platform, or technical ecosystems
- Comfortable navigating technical tradeoffs and partner integration challenges
- Track record of leading and closing complex partnerships across hardware, consumer electronics, or audio technology
- Technically proficient, with the ability to engage credibly on substantive product and technology topics
- Comfortable leveraging data and AI tools to inform partner strategy
- Strategic thinker who can zoom out to shape the broader partnership portfolio
- Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Familiar with agreements and frameworks such as NDAs, licensing structures, and distribution deals
- Able to build strong relationships and communicate with clarity
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Willing to collaborate frequently with partners in the GMT timezone
- Flexible for periodic travel for client meetings, events, and team collaboration
