About the role
- Design, develop, test, and maintain solutions in C++.
- Develop, craft, and maintain software systems that integrate with Spotify’s playback ecosystem and generate consumption datasets.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams (software engineers, data scientists, product managers, finance) to capture requirements and build data products.
- Perform root cause analysis on data and processes to answer business questions and find opportunities for improvement.
- Evolve systems towards technical excellence by improving quality through testing, tooling and continuously evaluating performance at scale.
- Participate in brainstorming, communication, and collaborative problem solving with a distributed team.
Requirements
- Proven understanding of C++ and experience designing, refactoring, writing and maintaining C++ code.
- Experience writing SQL/BigQuery queries to debug, validate, and analyze event data.
- Curious about mobile development architecture; experience on android and/or iOS development is a plus.
- Values learning a diverse set of tools and enjoys solving different kinds of problems.
- Likes working in collaboration and is happy to work with a highly async and distributed team.
