About the role
- Work on a multi-functional team of web and backend engineers.
- Work with your engineering manager, product manager, and designer to review product specs/designs and translate them into engineering tasks.
- Use best practices in continuous integration and delivery.
- Work in agile teams to continuously experiment, iterate and deliver on new product objectives.
- Support and learn from engineers in your domain and across the organization.
- Have opportunities to gain expertise in backend engineering.
Requirements
- You know how to write in modern web technologies including JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
- You have familiarity with Node.js
- You are passionate about creating end-to-end user experiences and have a keen interest in software architecture, encompassing the frontend, backend, and the APIs that connect them.
- You have professional experience in a product-driven environment.
- You appreciate the importance of great documentation and data debugging skills.
- You enjoy working autonomously, but you know when to ask for help.
- You understand the value of partnership within teams.
- You prioritize business impact and understand the trade-offs between sophisticated technical solutions and simpler approaches that cater to different stages of product development.
