About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the financial stability and growth of the company
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions
- Maintain effective financial controls
- Provide insightful reporting and guidance to internal stakeholders and franchisees
- Handle general ledger accounting and accounting for the company fiduciary funds
- Assist with monthly close by completing journal entries, account reconciliations and other related tasks
- Engage in ad hoc projects assigned on an as-needed basis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates or Bachelor Degree in business, accounting or finance, or equitable experience
- Experience with accounting software, Great Plains a plus
- Understanding of GAAP and financial statements
- Excellent analytical, GL research and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, lookup)
- Experience with AI and PowerBI, a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
