About the role
- Prepare local financial statements for our German entities in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Manage and coordinate the annual audit process with our external auditors.
- Create the notes to the financial statements and the annual management report.
- Execute the consolidation of all group financial statements (HGB).
- Reconcile internal management reporting with the official consolidated financial statements.
- Ensure the consistent application and implementation of accounting principles and policies across the entire group.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in group accounting or an audit firm, preferably in an international environment.
- Strong knowledge of HGB, IFRS is a plus.
- Experience with consolidation systems or Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
- Proactive, well-organized and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and German, Polish is a plus.
- A team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
