About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the performance of quick service restaurants across the Midlands.
- Lead through others by coaching and developing Area Coaches.
- Ensure restaurants consistently deliver an exceptional experience for guests and people.
- Hold full accountability for the market’s financial, operational and people performance.
- Translate QSR strategy into action, identify growth opportunities and build capability for long-term success.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the QSR division.
- Embed a guest-first mindset across the market, ensuring high standards for product quality, service, cleanliness, speed and accuracy.
- Use KFC Listens and Success Routines to identify opportunities, create action plans and drive continuous improvement.
- Coach Area Coaches to solve problems that improve guest satisfaction and profitability.
- Lead, coach and develop Area Coaches, including performance management, with People and senior leadership.
- Own training, certification and development of restaurant management teams, including RGM, ARGM and Team Leaders.
- Work with HRBP to deliver the bench plan, strengthen succession and fill key vacancies.
- Hold full P&L responsibility, drive sales and manage product, labour and other controllable costs.
- Set market strategy, manage the overall budget and approve operating expenditure within agreed guidelines.
- Balance financial performance with guest and people priorities using commercial insight.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and QSR and Splendid Hospitality Group policies, audits and operational routines.
- Lead Period Business Reviews and Market Meetings, using performance insight to agree priorities and actions.
- Build relationships across Operations and wider stakeholders, representing the QSR division and supporting strategic projects.
