About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain backend infrastructure powering LLM architectures, including RAG, ReAct, and agent-based systems
Architect data pipelines for processing extensive datasets
Devise AI-powered endpoints for the SaaS application and VSCode Extension
Design and develop large-scale graph-based data structures modeling complex data stores
Ensure graph structures provide scalable and performant context for AI applications
Lead development of a SQL intelligence system covering query optimization, dynamic pipeline generation, and data lineage tracking
Apply SQL profiling, AST analysis, and parsing to improve query performance and implement granular column-level lineage
Combine traditional software engineering with cutting-edge AI technologies
Contribute to open-source initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience building Python-based web application backends and the infrastructure on which they run
Extensive experience building scalable back-end systems, APIs, and microservices
Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies
Experience with FastAPI for high-performance APIs preferred
Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), preferred
Strong SQL proficiency, including query profiling, optimization, and performance tuning, preferred
Experience with SQL Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) analysis and SQL parsers such as sqlglot preferred
