About the role

  • Install and configure Windows and Linux server systems
  • Work independently within complex system landscapes
  • Responsible for building, customizing and optimizing virtual Windows and Linux environments
  • Plan and implement release changes and document concepts and configurations
  • Administration and migration of Microsoft file infrastructures
  • Detect, analyze, resolve and escalate incidents and major incidents in the IT infrastructure

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT or an equivalent qualification
  • Some professional experience in the areas listed above
  • Good knowledge of server operating systems (Windows, Linux, virtualization), DNS, Active Directory and backup tools
  • Knowledge of IT service and support processes (ITIL)
  • Personable, communicative team player with customer- and service-orientation
  • Very good German and good English skills
