About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development team in enhancing the Energy-as-a-Service platform across backend, frontend and infrastructure
- Contribute to features and components of the SaaS product from implementation through testing
- Develop scalable and robust software solutions for production operation
- Assist with implementation, code reviews, testing and documentation
- Work closely with the CTO and the development team
- Support architecture and operational tasks for a scaling platform
- Ensure code quality, clean interfaces and stable deployments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field
- First practical experience in software development, e.g., through personal projects, internships or working-student roles
- Basic knowledge of modern software technologies such as backend development, APIs, cloud or databases
- Interest in scalable software and digital infrastructure for the energy transition
- Initial exposure to IoT, energy management or smart-meter infrastructure is an advantage
- Confident communication in English
- German skills at least at B2 level
