About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You assume responsibility for our full-stack architecture and bring technical depth across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
You develop core components of our SaaS product further — from conceptualization to implementation.
You help shape technical roadmaps and design scalable solutions for production operations.
You actively drive and expand the SPiNE software development process: from idea through development and review to evaluation.
You work closely with our CTO, the development team, and external partners.
You ensure clean interfaces, sustainable code quality, and sound architectural decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience developing complex software solutions (ideally in B2B or infrastructure domains)
Deep understanding of modern tech stacks (e.g., cloud-native architecture, API design, data modeling, security)
You think in systems and have a knack for pragmatic, robust software architecture
You know what a stable yet flexible software development process looks like
You are strong both in conception and implementation — from the whiteboard to deployment
Nice to have: experience with IoT, energy management, or smart meter infrastructure
You are proficient in English and speak German (at least B2 level)
