Founders Associate

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strategic Projects & Growth Initiatives: You initiate and lead high-impact projects that drive SPiNE’s growth.
- Sparring Partner to the Founders: As a direct partner to the founders, you are deeply involved in operational and strategic decisions—from market positioning to day-to-day execution.
- Operational Excellence: You optimize and standardize processes across all areas, from automation to performance tracking, enabling SPiNE to scale with agility and efficiency.
- Finance & Performance Management: With precise analyses and insightful reporting, you steer the company’s financial performance and ensure strategic objectives are met and exceeded.
- Flexibility & Versatility: In an early-stage startup, roles are fluid. You wear many hats—from market analyses to supplier management—and learn new topics quickly.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You take initiative, assume responsibility, and do not require close supervision.
- Analytical Mindset: You break down complex problems in a structured way and deliver data-driven solutions at both strategic and operational levels.
- Proactive & Results-Oriented: You consistently prioritize according to the 80:20 principle, maintain attention to detail, and work with the drive necessary to achieve goals.
- Stakeholder Management: You communicate confidently at all levels—from internal teams to external partners—and ensure clarity and alignment in every interaction.
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent, plus 1–3 years of experience in a demanding environment such as consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth startup.
- Knowledge of the energy sector or sustainability is a plus.
- You speak German and English at a business/negotiation level and are willing to work regularly from our Munich office.
