About the role

  • You take ownership of our full-stack architecture and bring technical depth to the backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
  • You evolve core components of our SaaS product – from concept to implementation.
  • You help shape technical roadmaps and develop scalable solutions for production operation.
  • You actively drive and expand the SPiNE software development process: from idea through development and review to evaluation.
  • You work closely with our CTO, the development team, and external partners.
  • You ensure clean interfaces, sustainable code quality, and sound architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience developing complex software solutions (ideally in B2B or infrastructure environments)
  • Deep understanding of modern tech stacks (e.g., cloud-native architecture, API design, data modeling, security)
  • You think in systems and have a feel for pragmatic, robust software architecture
  • You know what a stable yet flexible software development process looks like
  • You are strong in both conception and implementation – from whiteboard to deployment
  • Nice to have: experience with IoT, energy management, or smart meter infrastructure
  • You are confident in English and speak German (at least B2 level)
