Requirements

What you’ll need

5-10 years of experience in technical writing, ideally supporting software systems or highly technical programs
Experience documenting software systems, APIs, or distributed architectures
Understand how to align documentation with government or regulated program requirements (e.g., compliance, deliverables, audits)
Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear, structured documentation for varied audiences
Experience using version control and documentation management tools
Highly detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills
Can manage multiple documentation efforts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working cross-functionally and asking the right questions to get clarity
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance
