About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Champion our product, collaborating closely with product teams and advocating our products and features value to our external and internal audiences.
  • Build clear positioning and messaging that translates complex product capabilities into simple, compelling stories for finance teams.
  • Turn customer insight into strategy, gathering and using a variety of insights to build a clear picture of customer needs, pain points, buying behaviours, and opportunities.
  • Drive competitive intelligence and data analysis, turning insights into practical recommendations that help strengthen our ability to win.
  • Lead go-to-market moments with pace and precision, working closely with Product, Marketing, and customer-facing teams.
  • Shape how Spendesk brings products to market, contributing to end-to-end product marketing strategy across launches, adoption and ongoing product narratives.
  • Connect product marketing work to business outcomes, helping improve metrics that contribute to business and team goals.
  • Build high-quality core PMM assets yourself, from messaging frameworks and launch briefs to sales decks, emails, positioning docs, and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and evolve market segmentation, helping Spendesk understand where we can create the most value across company sizes, regions, personas and use cases.
  • Create enablement that Sales and Customer Success teams actually use, building both strong relationships and resources that build confidence and consistency.
  • Partner with Marketing to bring product stories to market, shaping campaigns, website messaging, and other moments that help customers and prospects understand why Spendesk matters.
  • Drive cross-functional clarity, helping teams align on what we’re saying, why it matters, who it is for, and how it should show up across customer touchpoints.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 to 5+ years in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, financial services, or another multi-product environment.
  • Excellent writing and editorial judgement.
  • You’re naturally curious about customers and comfortable building insight from multiple sources, including customer interviews, feedback analysis, product usage data, sales input, competitor research, and win/loss analysis.
  • You understand how product marketing supports the full customer journey, from awareness and pipeline quality through to conversion, adoption, retention, expansion, and product usage.
  • You’re a strong cross-functional partner who can work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and senior stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required, as well as fluency in either French, German, or Spanish.
