About the role
- You will be responsible for driving new revenue growth by selling Clearspeed's solutions to US federal government agencies.
- Identify opportunities and work closely with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client mission needs.
- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate US federal, defense, and security sectors.
- Identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, contracting officers, and decision-makers.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposals, negotiations, contract documentation, and closing.
- Ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements, security regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM documentation.
- Represent the company at networking opportunities, industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8 years of sales/account management experience with US federal government, DOD, or intelligence community clients.
- A proven track record of success in both developing contracts and influencing buying processes.
- Understanding of FAR/DFARS regulations and federal procurement processes.
- Strong pipeline management and CRM skills (Salesforce experience a plus).
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical solutions for diverse audiences.
- Active US security clearance preferred; ability to obtain clearance required.
