About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the commercial success and lifecycle management of assigned PowerFilm surface mount chip attenuators and Passive Coaxial RF product lines and related components
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal cross-functional teams
- Develop product pricing strategies and prepare sales quotations
- Analyze and set standard, distribution, and private-label pricing
- Use ChatGPT to assist with market analysis and identify new products and market-share opportunities
- Manage custom and derivative product requests from initial inquiry through order
- Support new product introduction activities
- Collaborate on and help steer the sales growth funnel
- Complete product margin analysis
- Coordinate product lifecycle initiatives and SKU rationalization
- Answer information requests, monitor market activity, and engage in customer communications
- Collaborate with engineering on new programs and provide customers with progress updates
- Prepare special projects for data analysis and corporate reporting
- Coordinate derivative and custom design opportunities from start to finish
- Oversee engineering, purchasing, and operations activities for projects
- Prepare quote approval justifications for high-value quotations
- Coordinate review of revised engineering and quality documents
- Verify Bills of Materials accuracy and communicate obsolescence issues
- Identify and communicate product compliance concerns
- Benchmark competition and monitor product performance
- Collaborate with marketing on website updates, SEO, product literature, data sheets, and white papers
- Provide interim Product Line Manager coverage during absences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a STEM, business, accounting, or similar field strongly preferred
- Associate or technical school degree, or lesser level of education, may be substituted with strong relevant experience
- 4 years of experience in Customer Service or Inside Sales in a technical manufacturing environment, preferably electronics
- Experience in Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, production planning, purchasing, demand planning, SIOP planning, or data analysis considered
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 Suite
- Experience using a CRM platform
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Experience preparing manufactured-product sales quotations and developing pricing strategies is a strong plus
- Working knowledge of Power BI or a similar analytics platform, including exporting data to Excel
- Understanding of manufacturing operations, preferably electronics
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using ERP systems for MRP queries, stock levels, multi-level BOMs, bills of operations/routers, lead times, and sales orders
