About the role
- Lead, manage and inspire the post-installation support and service phase of client relationships and sales opportunity/revenue generation
- Partner and collaborate with dealer principals, general managers and dealership contacts to develop campaigns consistent with dealership marketing plans
- Remain current and knowledgeable on all Spectrio products and services and understand competitive climate
- Meet with, educate and advise dealer principals and/or general managers on digital engagement platform best practices
- Modify and ensure playlists are current and targeted to dealership goals, traffic patterns, dwell times, customer demographics
- Measure, report and communicate on dealer satisfaction’s impact on client retention and renewals
- Collaborate with the Spectrio Production Department to create and network digital assets and optimize user experience
- Evaluate client experience and utilization across multiple channels for best practice sharing
- Act as liaison between internal Spectrio departments and clients; launch and train on product initiatives
- Inspect and report on installed equipment at regular intervals and report technical/content issues and resolutions
- Prospect new opportunities, schedule sales presentations with decision makers, identify up-sell opportunities and assist with client follow-up
- Meet and/or exceed designated KPIs monthly and develop effective client contact travel schedules
Requirements
- Bachelors degree – business, marketing, communications or related field
- Account management experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Minimum of 3 years automotive industry experience preferred
- Relevant work experience of 6-8 years with outside automotive sales, a plus
- 5 years of successful sales and marketing experience in the automobile industry, ideal
- Driver’s license with good driving record required
- Must reside in local MN market
- Proficient in PC applications
- Outstanding attitude and proven work ethic
- Excellent verbal, written and body language communication skills with attentive listening
- Excellent presentation skills (both written and oral)
- Strong cold calling and closing skillset
- Solid understanding of sales skills and techniques
- Strong attention to detail with a client-centric focus
- Efficient, structured time manager
- Ability and willingness to travel within a multi-state region
