Legal Counsel – In-house

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the company’s legal affairs and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage contracts, corporate registrations, labor and compliance concerns, and documentation
- Provide legal advice on contract risks and obligations
- Handle business registrations, renewals, permits, licenses, and regulatory filings
- Advise management and HR on labor laws and employee relations
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and strengthen internal legal processes
- Provide legal oversight related to HMO agreements and employee benefits
- Identify legal risks and recommend practical business solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD)
- Must be a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar
- At least 3–5 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate or in-house practice
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor law, corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance
- Experience handling business registrations and government transactions
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage confidential information
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
