Talent Acquisition Specialist – Recruiter

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the full recruitment lifecycle from job ad creation and posting to candidate onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Work with department heads / hiring managers to guide and inform hiring decisions by sourcing, evaluating, and presenting high-quality candidates aligned to role requirements and team needs.
- Be the subject matter expert across existing talent tech stack including Team Tailor, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monday and Discord.
- Conduct regular research on industry trends and salary benchmarks to ensure competitive and attractive job offers.
- Proactively source and engage top talent through a variety of channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, YouTube Ads, forums, referrals, and other industry related platforms.
- Conduct thorough screening of resumes and applications to identify the best fit for each role, ensuring alignment with Spawnpoint Media’s culture and values.
- Lead the negotiation process with selected candidates, ensuring a fair and competitive offer that aligns with both the candidate’s expectations and company guidelines.
- Ensure a high-quality, inclusive, and consistent candidate experience from first touchpoint through to commencement.
- Gather and synthesise candidate feedback to continuously improve the recruiting experience.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding candidate and company information, handling all information with integrity and professionalism.
- Maintain and optimise recruiting workflows, tools, and systems.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline / talent pool of qualified candidates for roles across Production, Creative, Packaging (Thumbnails), Post-Production, and Operations departments.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance throughout the hiring process.
- Utilise Social media such as X, LinkedIn, Facebook Discord and professional networks to engage with potential candidates, enhancing our employer brand and expanding our reach.
- Work with People Operations and Operations team to ensure smooth onboarding and successful new hire integration.
- Together with People Operations, continuously refine onboarding processes to enhance engagement and retention
- Provide regular recruitment reporting, data analysis and insights.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition / Business Partnering or related role
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Availability to work occasional evenings to support onboarding requirements for international teams
- A proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for delivering a high-touch candidate experience
- Experience working within Team Tailor and Monday.com or similar ATS platforms is highly regarded
- Experience in the YouTube and Minecraft is highly desired
