About the role

Sparksoft is seeking a Sr.Drupal developer to be part of our team supporting a multi-year CMS contract.
The Drupal Developer will work under the supervision of the Development Manager, and he/she will be a key member of a scrum team working in an Agile Safe and Dev SecOps culture.
The project involves replacing HCL Web Content Manager (WCM) and HCL Connections with a modern, accessible, and scalable Drupal 11-based platform hosted in AWS (ECS Fargate).
The ideal candidate will have full-stack expertise, including backend architecture, front end theming, accessibility, and CI/CD integration.
The developer will work in an Agile team alongside DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver a secure, performant, and intuitive user experience across multiple web applications.

7+ years of experience in Drupal backend development, including entity/field APIs and routing.
5+ years of Drupal frontend development: Twig, SCSS, Layout Builder, custom theming.
Minimum 2 projects on Drupal 9 or 10.
Experience with Drupal Group module, Media entities, and configuration management (e.g., Config Split).
Strong understanding of OAuth-based SSO, role mapping, and F5 header integration.
Integration experience with AWS services: S3, ECS, CloudFront, Secrets Manager.
Proficiency in Composer, Drush, Git, and Jenkins pipelines.
Demonstrated ability to meet 508/WCAG accessibility standards.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with Figma or other UX design handoff tools.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
