About the role
- Own the process of identifying and documenting detailed business needs and translating business goals into functional requirements whilst ensuring they align to the product vision and business objectives
- Analyze and organize requirements into stories under epics, generate acceptance criteria, lead refinement sessions, and work with Product Leads and Owners on prioritization
- Serve as the primary point of contact for developers, testers, and business stakeholders ensuring all requirements are thoroughly understood, clarified, and validated throughout the project lifecycle
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring alignment across teams and accurate product execution
- Manage Confluence landing pages, ensuring they are up to date, organized, and serve as a central hub for project documentation
- Develop and write clear, comprehensive system and user guides following product releases
- Track customer requirements from inception through delivery raising risks when relevant, ensuring stories/epics are tracked to closure
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), review test scenarios, and ensure all impact points are considered
- Lead the scrum team in agile practices, helping achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
Requirements
- 8+ years' experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on requirements gathering and documentation
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Exceptionally motivated and proactive
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all aspects of requirements documentation
- Strong ability to ask insightful and probing questions to uncover deeper business needs prior to development and testing
- Proficient in agile practices (SAFe a bonus) and traditional project management practices
- Possess expertise in using JIRA and Confluence for managing requirements
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, product teams, and development teams
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
