About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain and implement compensation strategies and policies, including fixed and variable pay
  • Lead and further develop a small team
  • Build and enhance a job-grading / job evaluation system
  • Ensure compliance with national legal requirements, collective bargaining agreements and works agreements
  • Conduct ongoing market studies / benchmarking and analyze internal data, perform gap analyses and identify trends
  • Initiate and lead projects, e.g., standardization, introduction or optimization of C&B systems or tools (e.g., SAP HCM, SuccessFactors or other systems)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of professional experience, including some leadership experience
  • Experience with job-grading / job evaluation systems
  • Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, works agreements, and compensation and bonus models
  • Experience with HR systems / tools (e.g., SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, Excel, Power BI), and preferably salary-benchmarking tools
  • Ability to engage, align and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
