About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and Build: Design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications and microservices, owning the backend architecture and coding standards
Collaborate: Work closely with other developers, product managers and cross-functional teams (including client teams) to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions
Quality First: Write clean, maintainable code, conduct thorough code reviews, mentor other developers and share your knowledge
Iterate: Debug and optimize existing software to ensure maximum performance and reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of professional software development, with 5+ years specifically in Java (Spring and Spring Boot)
Strong general backend knowledge
Strong experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL; bonus points for NoSQL DBs (e.g. MongoDB)
Knowledge of Docker and working within Azure environments
Familiarity with modern TypeScript standards and frontend frameworks (Vue.js is preferred, but React/Angular experience is welcomed)
Experience with CI/CD practices and tools
Familiarity with DevOps, Kubernetes and general Cloud infrastructure
Familiarity with security best practices and web tokens (JWT)
