About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications and microservices, owning the backend architecture and coding standards
  • Work closely with other developers, product managers and cross-functional teams (including client teams) to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable code, conduct thorough code reviews, mentor other developers and share your knowledge
  • Debug and optimize existing software to ensure maximum performance and reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of professional software development, with 5+ years specifically in Java (Spring and Spring Boot)
  • Strong general backend knowledge
  • Strong experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL; bonus points for NoSQL DBs (e.g. MongoDB)
  • Knowledge of Docker and working within Azure environments
  • Familiarity with modern TypeScript standards and frontend frameworks (Vue.js is preferred, but React/Angular experience is welcomed)
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools
  • Familiarity with DevOps, Kubernetes and general Cloud infrastructure
  • Familiarity with security best practices and web tokens (JWT)
