About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support site HR Manager in delivery of talent strategy initiatives
- Deliver all aspects of frontline HR services, focusing on payroll & benefits support, talent acquisition, new employee onboarding and employee relations
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring of qualified contingent job applicants for frontline open positions
- Assist in development and implementation of employee recognition programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
- Audit and finalize weekly timecards in Factory Track, administer hourly payroll processes in ADP Workforce Now
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 5+ years of human resource management experience
- HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and ATS systems
- Familiarity with HRIS reporting and concepts
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (ADA, EEO, FMLA, FLSA) and the ability to appropriately spot employment risk issues
